We're looking for a certified Lifeguard to help us deliver a safe, welcoming pool experience for members and their families. This isn't a sit-and-watch post, you'll be active, engaged, and a visible part of what makes a great day at the club. What You'll Do • Keep a trained eye on the water at all times, you notice what others miss • Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting members and guests by name and making them feel at home • Enforce pool rules with confidence and professionalism, so everyone has a safe, enjoyable experience • Be the first to respond in an emergency, execute rescues, provide first aid and CPR, and stay composed until EMS arrives • Keep the pool deck clean, organized, and visually sharp throughout your shift • Handle administrative tasks like incident documentation accurately Requirements What We're Looking For • Valid lifeguard certification with current CPR/AED and First Aid credentials • At least 6 months of lifeguarding experience; 2+ years preferred • You pass a practical in-water skills assessment as part of the hiring process • Cool under pressure, when things go sideways, you move with purpose, not panic • Genuinely friendly and service-oriented, with strong communication skills • Available on weekends and evenings; schedule may vary with club events Physical Requirements • Lift up to 50 lbs. • Stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift • Work comfortably in all weather conditions Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 / hour
Responsibilities
Ensure the safety of pool members through constant surveillance and rapid emergency response, including CPR and first aid. Maintain a welcoming environment by greeting guests and keeping the pool deck clean and organized.
