Job Details Job Location: Highland , NY 12528 Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.50 Hourly Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning family friendly resort located in Highland, NY, is seeking talented and personable Lifeguards. You will be responsible for assisting guests at our numerous indoor and outdoor seasonal activities, and will provide outstanding guest service to ensure safe, memorable, and fun-filled experiences at the resort. Lifeguard Training is provided in house and includes lifeguard skills, CPR certification, AED, and First Aid through the StarGuard Elite program. This position does require daytime weekday availability. Responsibilities Manage various indoor and outdoor seasonal activities and equipment including: lifeguarding (outdoor and/or indoor pools), mountain tubing, rock climbing wall, bungee jumping, skiing, snow tubing, arcade, etc. Proactively address any guest in distress Maintain overall upkeep and cleanliness of all guest recreation areas Proactively address guest needs and inquiries with a sense of urgency Qualifications Qualifications 1+ year(s) customer service experience preferred; a friendly demeanor is required Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong work ethic, adept at multitasking, and a true team player Ability to work outdoors and on your feet throughout each shift Ability to carry or lift objects weighing 40 pounds Flexible availability with day time availability during the week; open availability that includes weekdays, weekends, days, and evenings preferred Ability to swim 100 yards Ability to retrieve a 10lb brick from the bottom of a 4 ft pool Physical ability to perform CPR and other lifesaving skills We have both part and full time opportunities available.

Responsibilities

Lifeguards will manage various indoor and outdoor seasonal activities, ensuring guest safety and enjoyment. They will also maintain the cleanliness of recreation areas and address guest needs proactively.
