Job Description We are seeking a professional and decisive Lifeguard Supervisor to join our team at a premier beach resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safety and well-being of guests and staff in our aquatic facilities, whilst leading a team of lifeguards. Supervise and manage a team of lifeguards, ensuring optimal coverage and performance Develop and implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures Conduct regular training sessions and drills to maintain team readiness Monitor water conditions and weather patterns to assess potential risks Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of pool areas and beach facilities Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary Maintain accurate records of incidents, rescues, and daily operations Liaise with resort management to ensure compliance with safety regulations Educate guests on water safety and enforce rules in a courteous manner Participate in the recruitment and training of new lifeguards Qualifications Advanced lifeguard certification and water safety instructor certification Minimum of 3-5 years of lifeguarding experience, with previous supervisory experience preferred Exceptional swimming abilities and physical fitness Current first aid and CPR certification Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to remain calm under pressure Thorough knowledge of water safety regulations and procedures Understanding of beach and pool management practices Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Proficiency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is advantageous Additional Information What awaits you...
