Lifeguard   Term of Employment:  Hourly, Renewable 15-20 hours/week Job Description: The Lifeguard’s primary responsibilities are to provide patron surveillance of the pool area; prevent injuries by minimizing or eliminating hazardous situations or behaviors; and to enforce facility rules and regulations and educate patrons about them. Recognizes and responds effectively to all emergencies. Minimum Qualifications: One year of work experience as a lifeguard, current certifications in Life Guarding, First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer w/ AED required. This position is subject to a criminal background check and Statewide Central Register Database check. Expected Hiring Salary Range: $17.12 per hour Review of applicants to begin immediately and continue until position is filled. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.
