Permanent Part Time role, 4 days a week – 8:30am – 4pm About the role Baptistcare Carey Gardens are seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to oversee the Lifestyle and Activities calendar and lifestyle care planning. The role involves developing, implementing, participating and monitoring a Lifestyle program that optimizes the quality of life for our residents. You will coordinate, participate and manage events and group activities and lifestyle resources, build and develop volunteers, train and support staff in activities to ensure provision of optimum level of person-centred service to all clients. You will drive the engagement and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational and cultural activities, as well as mental health and wellbeing programs that empower our resident’s choices and independence. In planning and organising all recreational activity programs, you will ensure individual residents’ needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences are taken into account. This is a permanent part time position offering 60 hours per fortnight About You * You hold a Diploma of Leisure and Health, Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or related/equivalent qualification * You have previous experience working in the aged care sector * You have proven Leadership experience in aged care or a community setting  * You possess strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills * You have knowledge of current Aged Care Quality Standards * You are proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications * You hold a current Driver’s license * Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check or provide current NDIS Worker screening clearance About Us BaptistCare is a leading purpose-led care organisation, guided by our Christian identity and serving people and communities across Australia for more than 110 years.
