As our highly valued Lifestyle Coordinator, you will enhance the wellbeing, independence, and quality of life of residents through coordinating the provision of a meaningful and engaging lifestyle program. You will also be responsible for coordinating the home’s volunteer program, to enhance resident engagement and connection. You’ll also make an impact by: * Delivering person-centred lifestyle services that promote residents’ physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, cognitive and social wellbeing * Building meaningful relationships with residents to understand their life history, preferences, strengths, goals, and support needs * Designing, coordinating, and implementing an inclusive lifestyle program that reflects resident choice and aligns with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards * Maintaining accurate documentation of resident participation, attendance, preferences, and outcomes * Conducting regular evaluations of the lifestyle program using resident feedback, surveys, observations, audits, quality indicators and participation data * Coordinating the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and ongoing support of volunteers * Providing leadership, guidance, and support to Lifestyle Assistants   What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: * Certificate IV in Leisure and Health * Minimum 12 months experience working within aged care, disability, community services, or a related sector * Demonstrated understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and person centred care principles * Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems * Experience supporting older people and/or vulnerable individuals * Strong interpersonal, communication, organisation, and time management skills * Ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate staff and volunteers * Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team * Experience in program planning, evaluation, and quality improvement activities * Driver’s Licence * Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willing to obtain one   You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following: * Degree level qualification in Leisure and Health, Community Services, Social Work, or related field * Certificate III in Aged Care * Current First Aid certificate * Experience coordinating volunteers or community engagement program   Please click the link below to view the position description: Lifestyle Coordinator Position Description [https://helpinghandagedcare.sharepoint.com/:b:/s/PDupdate/IQCtKTv34d62SYVNB2iyTAepAftoK6v5yWYIqp0LWzGdy7M?e=LfzZEa]   Why Helping Hand?   We get it - a role in aged care is more than just money.
