WKEF ABC22 & FOX45 in Dayton, OH has an immediate opening for a creative Lifestyle Show and AM News Producer! In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of our lifestyle show, Good Day Dayton, and produce the 9a News (Your Day) as well. This position will also work closely with the Lifestyle Host, Sales Managers, News Director and News Talent on the shows and its content. In this position you will determine the content and flow of show, work with sales, management and on-air staff to generate and write stories and develop content for our website. The ideal candidate will have: Be a compelling and accurate writer Be able to multitask and manage time in order to put together an exciting and informative show Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment Strong leadership and communication skills The ability to execute sponsored content strategies and goals in daily shows Understanding and appreciation for TV News Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities are a must Proficient with non-linear editing (i.e. Adobe) and newsroom systems, such as iNews Creative with linear and digital execution of clients advertising objectives Experience: Some previous producing experience at a commercial TV station, although the right entry-level candidate with the right attitude would be considered, A Journalism or Communications degree is preferred EEO AND INCLUSIVITY: Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
