The aim being that the residents live their best lives.
The Role:
Design an exciting, varied range of activities throughout the week,
Identifying residents hopes and goals, making personalised activity plan.
Manage the team to allow residents to explore new activities and interests, ensuring residents enjoy themselves in a homely friendly environment.
Ensure activities are well advertised throughout the home.
Support the residents in engaging with the local community.
Maintaining good documentation and evidence of residents living their best lives.
Lead the activities committee in supporting events within the home.
You will report to the Home Manager.
You will manage your Teams rotas and any HR concerns with the support of the Home Manager.
You will plan and submit team rota and anticipated monthly costings for approved activities.
You need to be flexible with working hours ensuring that activities/ events take place 7 days a week and in the evening.
Act as a positive role model within the home and amongst the team.
