Description There will be new hire training starting in November, this job starts once the snow flies! Provide excellent customer service to guests throughout entire special-use permit area. Work directly with Lift Operations to specifically give guests utilizing chairlifts, ski runs, freestyle terrain features or any other outdoor activity at Timberline an enjoyable and safe experience. Work extensively with Guest Services ticketing operations to perform loss prevention through meticulous checks of tickets and season passes. Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide outstanding customer service. Maintain maze and line control. Loss Prevention through meticulous checks of tickets and season passes. Communication with Guest Services and other staff members. Assigned daily duties for both Lift Operations and Loss Prevention. Ensure hill safety, guest service and loss prevention beyond maze perimeters. Remain abreast of daily events using Daily Hot Sheet. Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace. Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present. Regular and reliable attendance. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years or older. Must be professional with words and actions at all times. Must have through working knowledge of Timberline. Must have excellent leadership, conflict resolution and motivational skills. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must be able to perform duties of a Lift Attendant. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to shovel all types of snow, build mazes, and check tickets for extended periods of time in all types of weather. Must be able to stand for 2-10 hours a day. Must be able to work in a high energy, high demand environment for an entire shift. Must be advanced snowboard/ski ability where required.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to guests and ensure their safety while utilizing outdoor activities. Work with Lift Operations and Guest Services to perform loss prevention and maintain line control.
