Their direct responsibilities will be to assign, monitor, perform and oversee the maintenance within the scope of this position. The foreman will report directly to the Lift Maintenance Manager and Supervisors. Summary of Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Assist management in scheduling and training staff to ensure efficient department operations Assist management in planning and coordinating all assigned maintenance functions Assume the role of supervisor as needed Assist and maintain all required record keeping and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner Assume all responsibilities of a Lift Electrical Technician and their respective job functions including but not limited to maintaining all lift equipment to ensure safe operation as per in-house SOP’s and ANSI B77.1 Passenger Tramway Code Promote and ensure all safety requirements as set forth by in-house SOP’s and OSHA Monitor and enforce orderliness, cleanliness, and organization of all maintenance and shop areas Provide oversight of both mechanical and electrical departments Always provide superior service to our customers. Follow the Resort Etiquette Guidelines while interacting with the guests and respond to all guests in a courteous, efficient manner Perform other tasks as assigned Qualifications Basic Requirements: Proven previous Lift Maintenance and Lift Electrical experience Proven experience demonstrating leadership qualities Must have good analytical skills and be detail oriented Must be able to lift 50lbs. Frequently, and up to 100lbs. occasionally Must be able to bend, squat, climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level frequently Ability to climb and work at heights of up to 100 feet demonstrating proper climbing techniques with fall protection equipment Familiarity with analog, digital, and PLC controls interfacing low and high voltage systems to operate ski lifts and snowmaking systems. Knowledge of AC variable speed drives, DC motors, DC variable speed drives, battery powered low voltage 24VDC controls. Diagnose, repair and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation, time tracking, and interdepartmental communication. Ability to commit to working weekends and holidays. Must be flexible and able to adjust to the requirements of the department as needed. Preferred Experience and Skills: Working towards or possess a Journeyman electrical license Exceptional electrical knowledge and skills relevant to passenger ropeways, including planned and unplanned maintenance processes. Familiarity with electrical interface to the mechanical systems on lifts, such as: hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and braking systems. Familiarity with snowmobiles, ATV/UTV, and heavy equipment safety and operation.
