WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from an Instutition recognised by MOM
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in lift testing and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently
  • Preferably with own vehicle

Responsibilities

Your role requires you in your best capabilities and professional manner, to carry out the duties including but not limited to performing the end-to-end testing & commissioning works of lifts, escalators and travelators.

Safety

  • Ensure WWJSSS compliance on site, and product safety are being checked and adhered to.

Quality

  • Implement quality initiatives rolled out by the Senior Technical Manager
  • Responsible for the equipment inspection result (BCA & SPE inspection)
  • Responsible for the equipment performance during the DLP

Technical & Operations –

  • Liaise with relevant site personnel (installers, project manager / engineer, safety coordinator, etc) to ascertain the state of lift. Ensures that the lift is electrically safe.
  • Commission the lift in accordance with the agreed specification parameters
  • Test the lift in accordance with the relevant test document and procedure
  • Record any abnormalities for corrective action
  • Record any product issues to Senior Technical Manager
  • Liaise with Senior Technical Manager & Technicians on technical issues
  • Carries out the final inspection with internal QC inspector and the Specialist Professional Engineer. Responsible for the lift well security (safe for other trades and public etc) and safety of all persons involved in the installation activities during commissioning and testing of the equipment
  • Attend & participate in tool box meetings
  • Take part in meetings and workgroups related to quality and technical issues
