Description

LIFT ENGINEER – ELEVATORS & ESCALATORS (TESTING & COMPLIANCE)

  • Location: Kaki Bukit / Ubi, Singapore (office-based with regular site visits)
  • Salary: S$3,500 – S$4,400/month + AWS (13th Month) & Performance Incentives
  • Employment: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:45 PM

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in lift inspections, testing, or lift engineering at engineer level
  • Strong knowledge of lift systems, safety testing standards, and local regulations
  • Proven ability in troubleshooting, documentation, and compliance reporting
  • Solid communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and conduct statutory lift tests such as Full Load, Brake Tests, and safety device checks
  • Supervise modernization, upgrading, and technical inspections to ensure compliance with standards
  • Develop and refine testing procedures, SOPs, and documentation practices
  • Coordinate inspection schedules, manpower deployment, and site progress reporting
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues identified during inspections and recommend solutions
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to resolve technical and compliance-related issues
  • Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain proper records for audits and compliance
