Description

We are a growing small business seeking a skilled and reliable team member to join our company. This role involves the installation, servicing, and maintenance of two post, four post, scissor lift automotive hoists, conducting lift inspections, and troubleshooting various issues. We also maintain and service air compressors, tire machine/ balancers and alignment machines. Our clientele includes commercial automotive shops, dealership, specialty shops, and personal hobbyists.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract (current abstract required).
  • Reliable transportation to commute to the shop.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge and experience with power tools and safety procedures.
  • Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Completion of Commercial Inspection Reports and customer work orders
  • Ability to back up a trailer and operate equipment safely.
  • Mature work ethic, dependability, and a willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Steel-toed boots and eye protection are mandatory.
  • Availability for short-term out-of-town work, typically Monday through Friday.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Highschool Diploma
Post Secondary/ Trades considered an asset and will be given priority
First Aid- preferred
