Description Supervisor: Lift Operations Supervisor Department: Lift Operations Position Summary: Loads/unloads guests from chair lifts. Performs tasks to start-up and shut-down of lifts. Reports any out of the ordinary occurrences. Job Relationships: Responsible To: Guests, Lift Operation Supervisor, Lift Maintenance, Operations Director Employees Supervised: None Inter-Relationships: Work closely with Lift Operation Supervisor, Ski Patrol, and Maintenance to better serve our guests Duties and Responsibilities: Start-up and inspect lift at beginning of shift before Any Loading Clean and check chairs Assist riders on/off chair lift Maintains ramps and shovel snow Additional duties maybe assigned Understand and follow the “Lift Operations Guide” Requirements Qualifications: Certification: Completion and passing of Lift Operator training course Experience: None Other Requirements: Ability to relate in a positive manner to guests and co-workers Environmental Factors: Frequent lifting of items weighing 60 Lbs. or more Exposure to possible hazards associated with machinery and moving equipment Will be exposed to severe weather while performing duties Sitting or standing for extended periods of time Guest facing position.
