Description

THE IDEAL LIFT ENGINEER / SERVICE ENGINEER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

  • Familiar with all current lift health and safety legislation including supplementary tests,risk assessments and method statements.
  • Understand the principals of electronic lift control systems, diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
  • Able to read and understand electronic, electrical and mechanical diagrams
  • Demonstrate excellent problem / fault finding skills on all types of passenger , pass / goods and platform lifts including group systems.
  • Prioritise and plan work schedule.
  • Work from your own initiative and part of a team under minimum supervision.
  • Be of smart appearance with excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Being very flexible / reliable and able to cope with a work load
  • Part of a 7 day 24 hour call out rota
  • Work overtime and be willing to travel as and when required.
  • Current full clean driving licence.
  • The successful candidate will be maintaining and repairing lifts to a high standard in accordance with company procedures and be willing to do a 24 hour standby service which will include nights and weekends.The successful candidate may have a background in the following areas; Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer

    Pay: £32,500.00-£50,824.00 per year

  • Lift repairs / service: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Full clean UK drivers licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (preferred)
