Job Title: Lift Technician (Wheel Service Equipment Technician)– Winnipeg MB
We’re looking for a Lift Technician to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience or certification as a lift technician preferred.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable towing a trailer; Class 3 license is an asset.
• Experience using hand/power tools, and working with hydraulic/electronic systems.
• Familiar with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe work procedures.
• Forklift and scissor lift certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work independently, travel for service calls, and occasionally stay overnight.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.

RELATED PHYSICAL, & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and push/pull up to 1500 lbs.
• Capable of loading and securing equipment safely.
• Use of Electronic Logging Device (ELD) when required.
• Must follow site-specific and company safety protocols, including PPE usage.
• Occasional travel within Manitoba and to surrounding areas, including overnight stays.

• Service, inspect, and install automotive lifts, wheel service equipment, and other garage equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Perform equipment testing, adjustments, and part replacements.
• Train customers on proper use of installed equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and keep work areas clean.
