JOB TITLE – LIFT TESTING & COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

We are looking for a Lift Testing & Commissioning Engineer to join our team in our Lift Installation and Modernisation department covering the Southeast. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established company that values expertise, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

• Lift Testing & Compliance: Perform testing new lift installations and modernisations in line with relevant standards and Pickerings Lifts’ quality procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Regional Project Managers and the Head of Lift Product Operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Documentation & Quality Assurance: Complete and issue all relevant test and quality documentation accurately and on time.
• Fault Finding & Support: Provide technical support for identifying and resolving post-installation defects.
• Customer Engagement: Maintain proactive communication with both internal and external customers throughout the testing process.
• Installation Support: Assist Project Managers and sub-contract installation teams to improve installation quality when required.
• Site Travel: Travel to client locations as needed, with occasional overnight stays.
