JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced Lifting Supervisor to join our team in the marine industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all lifting operations at site, ensuring compliance with safety standards, lifting plans, and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in coordinating lifting crew activities and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • WSQ Certified Lifting Supervisor (Singapore)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in marine, shipyard, or offshore lifting operations
  • Familiar with lifting gear, rigging practices, and heavy equipment handling
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety and health regulations
  • Ability to lead and communicate effectively with team membersPhysically fit and able to work in outdoor and shipyard environments

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on-site including cranes, rigging, and lifting equipment
  • Ensure compliance with MOM, WSH regulations, and company safety policies
  • Review and implement lifting plans and risk assessments
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and pre-lift safety briefings with riggers and signalmen
  • Perform inspection and ensure proper maintenance of lifting equipment
  • Liaise with site engineers and other relevant parties to plan and execute lifting activities safely
  • Report and document any incidents or near misses related to lifting operationsMonitor worksite safety and take corrective actions as necessary
