RSN8 is a Toronto-based event series focused on immersive electronic music experiences. Our events prioritize high-quality production, community-driven energy, and an intimate yet electrifying dancefloor experience.
We are looking for a Lighting Designer & Operator to join us on a contract basis for our upcoming warehouse-style events in Toronto. We’re seeking someone who can handle light installation, design a dynamic yet clean light show (nothing too over-the-top), and operate the lighting equipment during each event.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a well-balanced light show that enhances the event’s energy and music without being excessive.
- Install, set up, and test lighting equipment before each event.
- Operate lighting mixers and controls throughout the night to create a visually engaging experience.
- Work with our team to ensure the lighting setup complements the venue and overall production.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to the lighting system.
