QUALIFICATIONS:

• Physically fit and able to work well under pressure
• Able to work well independently with little supervision
• Must be a team player and demonstrate organizational skills
• Verbal and written English skills as asset
• Must be able to make decisions individually and show problem solving ability
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Constant walking throughout shift
• Housekeeper is a very physically demanding position. Duties include repetitive bending, pulling, carrying, high lifting and heavy pushing

• Ensure the cleanliness of all areas of the building, while adhering to BNC standards
• Cleaning washroom facilities including toilets, bathtubs, sinks, showers mirrors, floors, bathroom fixtures and others as assigned
• Vacuuming floors, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Dusting of furniture and fixtures
• Removal and sorting of garbage and recycling
• Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards
• Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives
• Other reasonable duties as assigned
