Description

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 3-4 Years of experience in light metal fabrication, preferably in furniture manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in operating fabrication tools such as welding machines, and grinders.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of metal properties, welding techniques, and finishing processes.
  • Attention to detail, precision, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Pay: AED1,700.00 - AED3,000.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Interpret and analyze complex engineering drawings, CAD files, and fabrication blueprints to determine precise material requirements and fabrication method.
  • Execute high-quality welding techniques (MIG, TIG, spot welding) on light metal components, ensuring structural integrity.
  • Conduct surface preparation processes such as grinding, deburring, sanding, and polishing to meet finish specifications and ensure defect-free surfaces.
  • Assemble metal components using fasteners, rivets, welds, and adhesives, ensuring alignment and fit within defined dimensional tolerances.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify dimensional accuracy throughout fabrication stages
  • Maintain accurate fabrication records and report deviations or defects promptly to engineering or quality control teams.
  • Calibrate and maintain fabrication machinery and tooling to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate closely with supervisors, design engineers and quality assurance to implement revisions, optimize fabrication workflows, and meet project deadlines.
