JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working in a prominent Tool & Mould Shop on a 250-300 tonne press machine and packaging line producing “Class A” exterior car mouldings, the Press Operator’s responsibilities are to include the following, but not limited to:

• Working with lightweight Class A steel (weighing no more than 3 lbs.) will be required to load & operate the press and effectively optimize production
• Ensure the press / machine is working at its full capacity, oversee the maintenance (get assistance when needed) and perform timely quality checks.
• Rotation to packaging - packaging the parts in the provided bins according to their part numbers
• Ensure work environment remains safe, uncluttered and well-maintained
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess two (2) years experience working in a production manufacturing environment as a Machine Operator, Press Operator or Production / Packaging.
• Quality Inspection skills will be a definitive asset.
• Must be able to produce two (2) work related references
• Results-oriented team player, excellent attendance, high energy level and good attention to detail
• Flexibility to work extra hours when required
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
