Job Description Are you a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic looking to take the next step in your career? Newhaul is offering a unique pathway to upgrade your trade to a Heavy Diesel Mechanic Certificate through our Kickstart Training Academy while getting paid and gaining hands-on experience. Based at our brand new state-of-the-art Geraldton workshop, you’ll be working on a fleet of Mack & Volvo heavy multi-combination trucks, playing a key role in keeping our fleet running at its best. You’ll bring: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology Valid C Class Driver’s Licence (minimum) Ability to provide a Statement of Attainment or USI transcript Commitment to attending TAFE and completing training requirements Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills (Highly regarded) Previous exposure to heavy machinery or diesel equipment Residency in the Geraldton area Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
