Pursuing its strategy in matter of Interiors design development, Alstom is now deploying its Interiors Development Center (CDS) for the Americas Region in its St-Bruno, Canada Site, complementing the Sites of Bangalore, India and Valenciennes, France. Each center has its own multidisciplinary Team of Expert Engineers, technicians, buyers, quality, industrial, Project Management, all specialized in Interiors domains. Their mission is to develop the Interiors Products of the future and to execute the projects they are responsible for, from the Tenders and up to the delivery of materials to the assembly line.

RESPONSABILITIES:
- Defining lighting architecture, function, design, according to budget, internals and externals requirements.
- Defining with Train Control/ Train System network topologies, functional schematics and communications solutions to meet the customer requirements.
- Manage requirements from Métier document, standards, safety rules, cybersecurity rules, reliability, maintenance, software, network, customer specification.
- Manage, ensure and guarantee the consistency and compatibility of lighting system between suppliers and integration to reach expected performance
- Ensuring complete implementation and functional verification of all system requirements
- Collaborate with specialists from cross-functional disciplines, like: train control engineer, software engineer, RAMS/ILS engineer, train electrical engineer, train performance engineer, train design engineer, metier engineer
- Define Technical Specifications for lighting system
- Technically leading supplier development of the whole system design from conceptual solution to serial production phase according to Design For Quality (DFQ) cycle
- Write documentation for customer and, on request, participate in technical reviews with customer.
- Define the Lighting system validation plan, validated tests procedures from supplier and follow-up the type tests
- Participate to mock-up realizations and validation
- Support to First Article Inspections at suppliers’ premises and train tests
Responsibilities:
As the Lighting Product Engineer of the new Interiors Development Site (CDS), you will be accountable for the interiors parts engineering of lighting system: passenger area lighting, cabin lighting, front end lighting and will be a lighting products referent in Alstom
