We are seeking a seasoned Lightspeed Restaurant Implementation Contractor to lead the setup, configuration, and launch of Lightspeed Restaurant across our business locations. This is a high-impact, short-term engagement requiring deep expertise in the POS ecosystem and a hands-on approach to execution. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to ensure a smooth, efficient rollout.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience implementing Lightspeed Restaurant in restaurant or hospitality environments.
• Strong understanding of front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Ability to configure and optimize menus, workflows, payment systems, and reporting tools.
• Comfortable working with internal teams, vendors, and POS support channels.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver on tight timelines.

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Lightspeed Restaurant, including system setup, hardware installation coordination, menu programming, user configuration, and payment integration.
• Audit existing workflows and customize system settings to match operational needs.
• Create and configure menus, modifiers, discounts, taxes, and employee permissions.
• Coordinate with POS support for account provisioning, software updates, and troubleshooting.
• Train staff and management on the POS interface, reporting tools, and back-office systems.
• Build reporting templates and dashboards for daily operations and financial tracking.
• Create documentation and training guides for ongoing internal use.
• Provide post-launch support during the go-live period, with availability for troubleshooting.
