About the team: The Line 1 Risk Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the Risk & Compliance team in implementing a risk management and compliance strategy and promoting best practice risk management across the Enterprise Customer & Operations division (EC&O) as well as providing support to enable delivery of the streams of work included in the Risk Transformation program. You will work closely with EC&O SMEs, general managers and executive management to uplift the management of risk and compliance in the EC&O division in line with the Risk Transformation program of work and deliverables. You will have a strong background in industry standard operational risk frameworks and will perform current and emerging risks assessments, controls testing support to oversee control gaps, issues, incidents and breaches. Provide support to enable delivery of the streams of work included in the Risk Transformation program Support the Senior Risk and Compliance Partner in maturing Line 1 risk and compliance capabilities and practices across the EC&O Line of business Perform assessments of current and emerging risks to identify control weaknesses and inefficiencies and work with management to develop action plans to address deficiencies Collaborate with risk and compliance colleagues to continuously improve operational risk management and culture including alignment with best practice, industry standards, regulatory requirements and other enterprise requirements Assist the Risk & Compliance Partner in implementing and evolving the operational risk management framework across EC&O, including developing and maintaining operational risk management policies and procedures and contributing to continual improvement of the governance, risk and compliance tools and related enterprise risk processes Support EC&O risk reporting including system risk assessments, audits and regulatory responses, in line with enterprise technology and governance frameworks Support development and implementation and embedment of risk and compliance education and awareness, driving continuous improvement and adoption of best practice risk management as it applies to the EC&O division. Partner with the Enterprise Risk Management, Project Risk Management, Technology Risk Management and Enterprise Compliance teams to deliver an integrated approach to risk and compliance What you will bring: Must have Worked in line 1 or 2 Risk and/or Compliance management in a highly regulated industry Experience in designing and testing operational controls through internal control assurance, regulatory and/or internal audits Built trusted and engaged relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across all levels Developed functional control assurance practices and other risk management activities within the parameters of broader Enterprise Risk policies, practices and capabilities Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and manage a wide variety of stakeholders, specifically in a line 1 or line 2 risk management role Challenged the status quo and demonstrated an ability to grasp key concepts quickly Best practice risk and compliance framework knowledge and experience Strategic thinking and the ability to ‘sell’ a vision Critical thinking with an analytical approach A Collaborative mindset and a willingness to facilitate and work with multiple stakeholders to deliver a common goal / outcome Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present effectively Organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities Nice to have: Understanding of different financial products that the ASX offers Broad understanding of project methodologies Experience influencing risk culture Knowledge of BCP and disaster recovery frameworks Strong Operational process knowledge and experience Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint We make hiring decisions based on your skills, capabilities and experience, and how you’ll help us to live our values.
