JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and dedicated individual to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items to meet guest orders and uphold our company’s high standards of quality and consistency. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, impeccable attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food items according to our recipes, menu specifications, and guest requests or requirements
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to company standards and food safety standards
  • Manage designated stations on the line, including grill, sides, fryers, build, and pass, coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient production
  • Follow standardised recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency, adjusting recipes as needed to accommodate special dietary requirements
  • Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation throughout the cooking process to meet established standards and guest expectations
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to expedite orders to ensure timely delivery of food to guests, communicating modifications and timings to ensure accuracy and efficient workflow during service
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, stock rotation, and ingredient usage to minimise waste, control costs, and ensure availability of ingredients for menu items
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work stations, following cleaning procedures and food safety guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and kitchen hygiene practices, identifying potential hazards or risks promptly to senior management
  • Assist in training new hires and providing guidance and support to your team to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance
  • Assist in opening and closing the kitchen to high standards, ensuring cleanliness and presentation are upheld
