We are seeking a motivated Line Control Intern (Supply Chain) to join our Supply Chain team at STMicroelectronics Malta for a 6-month internship, with the possibility of extension. You will support the Line Control team in the development and maintenance of the Synapse / FPS Applications by contributing to data collection, data cleaning, and model upkeep activities. You will work closely with the Malta Operations and MDS teams to help ensure the reliability, accuracy, and usability of the data used to monitor production performance. Your work will support better visibility on shopfloor conditions, strengthen decision-making, and contribute to continuous improvement in daily operations as well as the introduction of AI systems within the daily operation. Duties & Responsibilities The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the collection, validation, and cleaning of data to be used in the Synapse / FPS Applications. Assist in the upkeep and configurations needed of the model to ensure accurate and reliable outputs. Contribute to the preparation of reports and dashboards used for line control analysis. Liaise with Operations and MDS teams to support the deployment and go live for the Synapse and FPS applications Actively participate in daily and weekly meetings to follow up on the applications performance and data quality issues. Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate shall: Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Management. Possess good communication skills. Good knowledge in Microsoft office tools. Have a methodical and analytical approach. Have high standards of responsibility and initiative, and have an eye for detail.
