Description Apple Canyon Lake Property Owners Association ___________________________________________________________________ Line Cook REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Manager, Bar Supervisor CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt POSITION SUMMARY: The mission of the Apple Canyon Lake Property Owners Association is to bring a superior level of service to the local community, ensuring that members and guests have a exceptional lake living experience that will not only encourage return visits, but generate excitement and, ultimately, increase pride in property ownership and property values. The Food & Beverage Team is the front line to deliver this experience, whether its through the Pro Shop, the Marina, or the Cove Dining. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Station Prep: Set up, stock, and organize your designated station with all necessary ingredients and supplies before service begins. Food Preparation: Chop vegetables, butcher meat, and prepare sauces according to recipe guidelines. Cooking: Cook orders efficiently using various methods like grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking. Plating: Ensure dishes meet exact visual presentation standards, appropriate portion sizes, and temperature requirements before serving. Sanitation: Maintain a clean workspace, follow proper food safety (HACCP) protocols, and sanitize equipment. Inventory: Track food freshness, rotate ingredients (FIFO), and report low inventory to kitchen leadership Qualifications: · Occasionally reaches, lifts, stacks and maneuvers objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 55 lbs · To follow all health & safety · Bartending experience · At least 3 months of previous supervisory or lead experience · Ability to multi-task and utilize efficient time management a must · Ability to handle a fast-paced environment · Ability to communicate with clear and concise points Education: · High school or GED Working Conditions: · The majority of the work will be performed, standing, or walking. Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as dangerous equipment or chemicals.
