JOB SUMMARY

The Ashby Eatery is a new, small, locally owned restaurant with a close-knit kitchen team. With only three or four back-of-house staff, teamwork is essential — everyone pitches in to make sure our guests receive the best food and service possible. We’re looking for a dependable and motivated AM Line Cook who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in their work.We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. Experience as an AM breakfast line cook is a bonus. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while by being consistent and taking pride in the little things.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods.
  • Experience in fine dining or catering is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation for diverse diets is a plus.
  • Excellent knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative when necessary.

    Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
