  1. Duties
  • Follows recipes and preparation guidelines to produce food items according to established methods.
  • Ensures proper food handling and sanitation procedures in compliance with DHEC and company standards.
  • Maintains clean and sanitary workstations, including tables, shelves, walls, ovens, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Adheres to Grooming and Hygiene Guidelines and upholds high sanitation standards at all times.
  • Consistently complies with portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Receives, unpacks, organizes, and rotates stock in a timely manner.
  • Prepares and plates menu items to company standards when ordered.
  • Reports equipment malfunctions or food quality concerns promptly to management.
  • Uses prep lists, hot box charts, and manager instructions to ensure timely delivery of products for service.
  • Follows all safety procedures when using equipment and tools.
  • Keeps kitchen stations clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
  • Stands and walks for the duration of the shift without extended breaks.
  • Assists servers, bartenders, and managers with carrying plates and supporting service as needed.
  • May be asked to assist in other job categories as required.

  • Communicates effectively and courteously with guests, co-workers, and managers.
