Borgo is the newest addition to the Marlow Collective (Diner, Marlow & Sons, Romans, Achilles Heel) from restaurateur Andrew Tarlow. The group’s first restaurant in Manhattan features an expansive formal dining room separated by a fireplace, an open kitchen with a wood-fired oven, and an ambitious beverage program curated by industry veterans.
Borgo is looking to fill lunch and dinner positions that require weekend availability.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have 2+ years of professional cooking experience with excellent production skills
• Bring detail and care to their work
• Be reliable, focused, organized, communicative, and curious
• Be able to self-manage as well as be managed
• Be organized, friendly, and reliable
• An interest in working in various capacities toward meeting the goals of the team and the business.

While performing the duties of the job, a line cook is regularly required to stand and walk; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. They must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
