Overlooking the Dahlonega Square, Bourbon Street Grille offers their TWIST ON TRADITIONAL CAJUN CUISINE! Our restaurant and bar is located the Historic Hall House building that offers full bars and dining areas on two unique floors. Upstairs features an intimate dining room and our sought after open-air balcony overlooking the picturesque town square. Our first floor has a festive pub atmosphere, a four-seasons enclosure, and an open air pet-friendly deck outside. If you don’t have the time to sit down and stay a while, takeout or delivery available.
We are looking for line cooks! Full Time or Part Time!

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain food preparation areas, such as equipment, work surfaces, and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures by regulating the operation of ovens, broilers, grills, fryers, roasters and other kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of dates, labeling, rotation, and waste management.
  • Comply with restaurant standards for portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
  • Food Safety adherence with a clean well-groomed appearance, 100% glove usage, aprons and chef coats, head coverage, closed toe shoes, uniform apparel without frays or holes.
  • Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food products at line stations to support smooth service.
  • Assisting in food preparation assignments for off-site catering, special events and large parties, and participating in seasonal festivals during off peak periods.
  • Opening the kitchen to ensure a clean and food safe environment is present at all times before opening the doors for business. Ensure readiness for volume before peak service through food preparation, par levels, line setup, teamwork, and stocking.
  • Closing the kitchen following developed checklists for kitchen stations by working efficiently as a team to ensure cleanliness.
  • Be flexible with your schedule to support the needs of the restaurant with a focus on punctuality and attitude.

    Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
