Cafe 85, an exciting brand new Cafe / Bistro is looking for line cooks at all skill level to join our team with a newly built kitchen and dining room. You must have a legal status to work in Canada with cooking experience in cafe or casual fine dining kitchens.
Our line cooks will take active roles following the guidance of the chef de cuisine to prepare everything with standardized recipes, set up the line, and execute the individual dish according to the chef’s expectations. To be successful in this job, you will need a complete understanding of food safety and sanitation with high organization and time management standards. You must work well with others and be self-motivated to perform daily tasks allocated by the management, based on your skill level.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven kitchen experience in the food industry (ideally more than 2 years)
  • Valid Food Handler Certification
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
