About us: Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community unlike any you’ve ever seen. Line cook position details: We are hiring a Full Time (37.5 hours/week) line cook. Shifts vary, with closing time between 7:30pm and 8pm each night. Please note that this position is eligible for a $2,000 recruitment and retention bonus. Line cook job duties include: Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus. Prepare food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus. Prepare and serve alternative menu items as needed. Assist in food preparation for special meals, parties, etc. Assist in serving meals, as necessary, and on a timely basis. Line cook benefits include: 90% paid health insurance. Responsibilities
The line cook will prepare meals according to planned menus and assist in food preparation for special events. They will also serve meals in a timely manner as needed.
