JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This position requires a commitment to excellence in food preparation and service within a fast-paced restaurant environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is required.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with other kitchen staff effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking and cleaning.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Handle food safely and efficiently, adhering to proper food handling techniques.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock is low.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
  • Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on new dishes.
