JOB DESCRIPTION: To be able to run the line proficiently, along with assisting the Chef with daily operations and food preparations while keeping a safe and clean working environment.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen is an asset

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Must be available for various shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays and late nights
  • Able to work with a team and independently
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Proficient knife skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and functions
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements

Responsibilities
  • Execute daily kitchen operations
  • Proficiently run the line for day-to-day restaurant orders
  • Food prep for all types of functions
  • Maintain clean and sanitized and organized working area at all times
  • Prepare foods according to the menus and contracts
  • Assist Chef with receiving and rotating stock
  • Ensuring supplies are available
  • Responsible for clean-up duties at end of shift
  • Maintaining all Kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.
  • Preparing recipes as directed
  • Setup and tear down of food related stations for events
  • Other duties as assigned
