This position plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen while assisting with food preparation and cooking as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. * Ensure all food preparation areas are sanitized and comply with health and safety regulations. * Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly. * Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations. * Follow all food safety guidelines and company policies. * Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef. QUALIFICATIONS: * Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred but not required. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. * Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
