Line Cook/Food Counter Attendant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers at our establishment by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling transactions in a friendly and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and direct them to their tables
- Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Upsell additional items to customers
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Proficiency in basic math for handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and help out in various tasks as needed
