Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Cook/Dishwasher. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishes. Duties:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Cook menu items according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using proper sanitation techniques
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure safe handling and storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to keep track of multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to food safety guidelines
