Position Summary: As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in supporting kitchen operations and delivering high-quality food to our guests. These positions are seasonal and offer an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment at two of our vibrant dining locations: the Main Clubhouse and Sports Center. Department: Culinary Reports to: Executive Chef or Sports Center Kitchen Manager Supervises: None Employment Status: Seasonal Key Responsibilities: Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, cutting meats, and measuring ingredients. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent food quality. Prepare and assemble dishes in accordance with menu specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the efficient and timely preparation of meals. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is a plus, though we are willing to train. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, such as grills, fryers, and ovens. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently. Comfortable working in a hot and noisy kitchen environment. Ability to handle high-stress situations while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
