The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent organizational and time-management skills. As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to our restaurant's recipes and specifications and maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications Use knives, kitchen equipment, and tools safely and efficiently Ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage areas, equipment, and utensils Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies Communicate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service Assist with other duties as assigned by management Requirements: Previous experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and equipment Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Excellent organizational and time-management skills Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniques Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or equivalent preferred Grove Bay Crawford is an E-Verify and equal opportunity employer; you must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
