Job Summary: The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to food safety guidelines while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.   Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. * Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workstation. * Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations. * Ensure consistent portioning, plating, and presentation of dishes. * Assist with prep work and ingredient stocking as needed. * Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service. * Handle and store ingredients properly to prevent waste. * Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries. * Communicate with team members and leadership to ensure efficient operations. * Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef regarding food preparation and kitchen policies. Qualifications: * Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred. * Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. * Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment. * Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. * ServSafe certification or equivalent is a plus. Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift). * Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 50 lbs (e.g., food trays, boxes, equipment). * Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead. * Repetitive hand and arm movements (e.g., chopping, stirring, plating). * Exposure to heat, open flames, cold storage, and wet/slippery surfaces. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. * Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle sharp objects safely.
