REQUIREMENTS

  • Food Safety Certificate
  • 1 -2 years experience in a food service environment, demonstrating knowledge and understanding of food safety standards and requirements.
  • Spanish is considered an asset for the role

Responsibilities

DUTIES

  • Prep food items at the beginning, middle, and end of the day to ensure timely availability for service.
  • Fulfill catering orders with attention to detail and adherence to menu specifications.
  • Cook and assemble food items following prescribed recipes and menu guidelines.
  • Strictly adhere to proper food handling and safety protocols to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
  • Plate and garnish dishes according to our standards, ensuring presentation excellence.
  • Count inventory regularly toensuret sufficient stock levels..
  • Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service for customers.
  • Store food items properly, labeling and dating them to prevent waste and ensure freshness.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a well-organized and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries to verify the quality and quantity of incoming food supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with the front-of-house staff to coordinateonline orders and delivery, ensuring a seamless experience for eat-in and dine-out customers.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve skills, learn new techniques, and stay up to date on menu changes.
  • Support the team by assisting with any additional tasks as requested by the manager to ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and smoothly.
