Bucks Deli & Market is a specialty, gourmet deli offering locally sourced, organic, natural and allergen-friendly foods. This includes baked goods, made-to-order sandwiches & salads, homemade soups, prepared foods, farm-fresh produce and specialty grocery items.
Our deli is open for breakfast and lunch and the market will have an array of prepared foods to choose from for dinner. Prepared foods are made fresh daily and conveniently accessible to “Grab-And-Go” at our market seven days a week.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and experience in the kitchen environment, whether in a restaurant, catering, or food service setting. Baking experience is a plus!
As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our dishes meet high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen.

SKILLS

  • Experience in a catering or restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food industry standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Familiarity with dietary restrictions and the ability to accommodate special requests is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to help others in the kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
  • Assist with daily bread and pastry baking
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Monitor food quality during cooking and adjust as necessary to meet taste and presentation standards.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper sanitation practices at all times.
  • Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
