ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook with a passion for authentic Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing traditional Indian dishes, knowledge of spices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes (curries, tandoori items, biryanis, breads, appetizers, etc.) according to recipes and restaurant standards.
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all food served.
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Assist with receiving and storing food supplies.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Support other kitchen staff and collaborate with chefs to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
  • Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and portion control as needed.
