Description Beautiful Interlachen Country Club located in Winter Park, FL has openings for full-time line cooks in our Pool Kitchen & Bar. Renovated in 2015, this indoor/outdoor casual dining facility provides a fun and casual atmosphere for members, families, and guests alike. SUMMARY: As a member of the Pool Kitchen Culinary Team, you will set up and maintain your work station for lunch and/or dinner service. Line Cooks will work as a team with each other as well as with servers and supervisors to ensure all orders are accurate and prepared in a timely manner. RESPONSIBILITIES: Preps and stocks all items needed to assemble regular menu selections in addition to the weekly Pool Kitchen specials. Uses standardized recipes and presentation photos as guidelines to prepare Pool Kitchen menu items and specials. Cross-train on all Pool Kitchen stations: Pantry, Grill, Flat, Pizza, and Prep. Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can always be organized and easily accessible. Maintains cleanliness of coolers, countertops, fryer, grill, and char-broiler on a daily basis. Perform utility duties when a utility staff member is not scheduled. Conducts self in a proper manner due to open nature of the kitchen. COMPENSATION: Competitive based on experience. REPORTS TO: Restaurant Chef/Executive Chef/Sous Chef Requirements AVAILABILITY: Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Requires occasional bending, lifting, stretching. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
