REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience with Italian cuisine preferred, but not essential
  • Solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety
  • Good knife skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and reliability
  • Availability to work over a 7-day rotating roster; including weekdays, weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As a Line Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and care. You’ll work as part of a busy kitchen team to ensure every plate made with love and served with pride.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are always followed
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house staff
  • Assist with inventory, prep, and daily cleaning as needed
