Experienced Line Cook: We are currently seeking a hardworking individual to join our kitchen team for both preparation & service starting in April. As a scratch kitchen, we take pride in our commitment to quality, which means some tasks may require a little extra effort—but we believe it's worth it, & our guests agree! In this role, you will work under the guidance of our Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef. Additionally, candidates should be well-versed in various areas of the line such as grill, pantry, and sauté, ensuring flexibility & adaptability in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Requirements What we expect from you: Willing and able to work 2-5 nights per week starting between 12pm - 4:30pm until 9pm - 10pm We are flexible on in times, especially if you have another day job. Our hours of operation are from 5pm-9pm. 4+ years of previous kitchen experience - high-end & high-volume setting preferred Strong ability to read tickets and stay organized during the shift. An updated resume showing a history of long term tenure with current or previous employers Culinary skills in multiple areas of the kitchen & on the line including: Efficient prep skills of vegetables, proteins & sauces Ability to follow a recipe and adapt, as needed Animal & fish butcher Pantry Fryer Baking & Pastry Sauté & grill Proficiency in moving between different stations on the line as needed Current with culinary & hospitality trends Strong time management skills on the line and in prep work Be an active listener & problem solver Professionalism: remain composed & communicate clearly with your teammates Adaptability to our open kitchen environment, understanding we are "on stage" at all times Willingness to be flexible with our team as needed Maintain a clean & organized environment in all areas of the kitchen
