Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to at all times.
  • Assist in meal preparation for service, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
